The Theory Test

The Driving Standards Agency DSA are responsible for all UK driving test. Before any UK citizen is able to drive a car on UK public roads they must first hold a valid UK License.

To pass the driving test you are required to be able:

• Drive Safely
• Apply and Show your knowledge of the highway code
• Handle a range of driving conditions
• Perform any required exercises by the Examiner

Since January 1992, Drivers who have being disqualified are required to take an extended test. This will last approximately 70 minutes unlike the standard 40 minutes of a normal driving test.

Disqualified drivers should seek the council of a qualified driving instructor in order to prepare them for the extended test.
